Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13th 1986 at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the first child of Ellen and Gerald Dennings. Ellen Dennings, her mother and a speech therapist, and Gerald was the father and was a professor at the college. Dennings is the youngest of five kids and was raised as a child in an orthodox Jewish household. Dennings attended a school that did not follow the traditional curriculum and did not attend a homeschool. As she was acting in her early years and was a natural homeschooler, it worked well for her. In the year 14 she completed her high school. At the young age of nine, she was acting in advertisements. After finishing high school, she relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to take on acting. Kat Dennings was her name as she began auditioning. Kat Dennings made her acting debut in HBO's "Sex and the City" In 2000, after her move to LA. Following that, Dennings was a star in WB's sitcom "Sex and the City".
